Re: Water Related Civil Litigation.PDF

Mr. Baird, This request was drafted and in submission process before the Mr. Earley issue and was not intended to be included in this request specifically. We were made aware of Mr. Earley's situation on Friday evening of last week and worked on a resolution over the weekend. Anthony Chubb, Chief Legal Counsel, will talk to you about this specifically to clarify. Your agreement to pay for costs to represent Mr. Earley in yesterday's meeting did not solidy your response to the request to this letter, so I hope we continue to be on the same page as relates to cases arising out of Emergency Manager actions after departure. Thanks, Natasha L. Henderson, City Administrator 1101 S. Saginaw St. Flint, MI Email: Phone: (810) 237-2057 www.cityofflint.com

This request was not the same as the request you made during our meeting regarding the funding of Darnell Earley's legal costs in conjunction with the preparation for a congressional hearing appearance. Please contact me so that we can clarify the rationale for this request. Rich xxxEND_PAGE:treasury01_b38_6783_6976_078 Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID

Fwd: Recommendations Regarding Flint Water System and Legionella

Keith, Could you or George K take the Jead in drafting a response from the Governor? You have already reached out to EPA on point 1. I would suggest a call with TF member Eric Rothstein would be useful dealing with 3rd party outreach. Let me know if I can arrange that. Be good to get back to TF by close of business today. Thank you. * Best, Rich Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE ERD weenconene Forwarded message

No sense of urgency and no appreciation for the need to give Mayor Weaver some positive news to share with the people of Flint as soon as possible. Don't have all the background on this but we are already considering this as part of our rapid response team and have resources that could be on the ground this week. We need to get this right, and right away. Mark Davidoff Michigan Managing Partner Deloitte LLP Office: 313-396-3317 Mobile: >Driving Towards Detroit 2030 (Sent from my mobile device)

Why is re-creation of basic billings and collections 60 hours? Can you discuss with Yeo and Yeo? Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID ---+-+--+- Forwarded message ----------

Confirming our Discussion tonight

To
Weaverkaren
Mayor Weaver: It was good talking with you today. Confirming our discussion, MI Treasury will pay for the costs of having the City's auditors come in and secure the information requested in the memo below. We were advised that the information could not be provided prior to February 1. I see this as a half day or day effort with the right resources. The people of Flint have been paying for or been billed for water they couldn't use and this information will help in our efforts to provide potential relief in the future and perhaps in the past as well. But we need to determine what that looks like operationally and financially. If we are successful in securing funding, it would be our hope you could advise the people of Flint of what you were able to work out with the state and to do so in the fastest time possible. We don't want to wait until February 1. We want to have Yeo and Yeo contacted, providing a time/expenses cost estimate, and deployed by Monday. I] have copied Wayne Workman here in case I have missed something. Thank you, Rich Sent from my iPad Begin forwarded message:

Flint Water

Just finished a call with the Mayor. She indicates that the staff is working on a more complete analysis of Water System finances right now and it should be done soon. | also want to share that while we were talking she received a text message that the City had exhausted their supply of bottled water and filters. Not sure where that info needs to go, but please pass it the appropriate parties. Wayne Wayne L.
