Date: Friday, December 11, 2015 2:20:36 PM We had a similar issue in Neithercut. We ended up using a tap not normally used for drinking water but did label it. Is there any type of faucet along that wing? For Neithercut we noted on the label that it was for consecutive sampling only. Stephen Busch, P.E. Does anyone have ¢ picture that can go in this report for the following location? Outlet: Sink Faucet (02CF034) Location: Classroom 208, southwest wall Results: P1=19 parts per billion, P2=12 parts per billion, F1=3 parts per billion, F2=2 parts per billion These results suggest the highest contribution of lead may be from the faucet and its connecting plumbing. The base of this faucet is chrome plated brass, and has a brass connection on the underside of the sink. Connecting plumbing in the Image cabinet under the sink should be checked for brass components and copper piping Available with lead solder. No Replacement of this faucet and its connection plumbing with lead-free materials will significantly reduce lead exposure at this location. If replacement is not currently feasible, sample results indicate that flushing this tap for 3 minutes following periods of stagnation is likely to reduce lead concentrations and lead exposure. xxxEND_PAGE:deq18_b216_1650_1651_1 Thanks, Tras, Ao
