FY15 Ending Lab Fund Balances

Hi there. Looks like we finally have the seen the last of the large revenue/expenditure transactions in our lab funds! Ending Fund Balances (Carry forward into FY16) e Fund #0108 - Environmental Lab Fees: $434,832.58 e Fund #0652 —Water Analysis Fees/Drinking Water Lab Fees: $246,738.96 1 xxxEND_PAGE:deq15_b585_2082_2083_1 e Fund #0651 — Public Water Supply/Lab Certification Fees: The fees for this one were not sufficient to cover all costs — we were short by $29,820.83, which was covered by revenues from the Drinking Water program. If we have any changes to these amounts | will let you know. RE: Project Number for City of Flint Drinking Water

For now, please charge the Flint water samiples to index 45500, PCA 30107, Praject #900046-00 This index & PCA will charge the Leb’s Drinking Water fees fund for the samples, and the Proj# will track these charges with the rest of the DEQ casts. When the funding source for these fs identified, we will move these costs over to that source, Inthe meantime, if you receive different directions re: coding, please lat me know ASAP to keep us all on the same page. Confidential & Deliberative

Confidential & Deliberative: George/Carol: Sylvia Renteria just called indicating that the Senate Fiscal Agency is looking for some information re: the Flint drinking water tests and costs. Sylvia asked which lab tests are being performed for Flint schools, and the costs, and also if are they the same tests/costs that would be done for nursing homes, etc. We went over the Water Analysis test request form, as well as the larger schedule of fees and believe that test code: CCUB Lead/Copper for corrosion control @ $26.00/sample is the one being performed. Regardless of the sample source, who submits or pays, the cost is the same. Can you please confirm or correct our understanding? Thanks! Anastasia M.
