Absolutely. | think that is Jarrad’s recommendation to the Gov also but he'll have to confirm that. it's worth noting that Wayne Workmari met with Natasha Henderson (the city manager we put in and a less than stellar choice) and told her that she needs to find an accommodation with the Mayor or she’s out. By the way, Wayne Workman announced his retirement yesterday effective Feb. 1, so the guy who is the mast knowledgeable and most talented Treasury bureaucrat we have (alongside of whizbang Tom Saxton} is quitting. That is a heck of a hole te fill, so we need to encourage Torn to stay (he's wavering}.

That's what | suggested; however after given it second thought, | think a simple reply should go something like: "Thank you for your concerns regarding Flint. I've established a task force of experts who will advise us how to proceed, and | will be more than happy to send you their findings to you." Accountable Please see below. We're going to address by noting that this move to was something that community had supported as well, that we know Darnell cares deeply about kids and the residents he serves, but that primarily we're focused on future and all the steps we are taking in collaboration with all parties to ensure that Flint has safe drinking water and we're protecting public health, and that we will be conducting a full after action review. She is also the one to shoot down the firm the Rich got to come to Lansing to present new technology to treat the water by using far less chemicals the city was currently using. Smh Best, Harvey

we lst the narnes we'll undoubtedly miss someone, Great idea, but i don’t think it wil work. For instance, the kids ir the Bay County districts are raising money for water purchases in the schools and you wouldn't want to leave them out. The Health Endowment Fund really daesn’t deserve a lot of credit but theyll want it anyway, etc., ate.

What if they are shut ing or can’t get there? Where’s the rellef coming from? is the Filnt Transit Authority willing to axtend complimentary transpertetion? Who is gning to exmlain to the recipients how the filter fits on their faucet? | know from experience that my wife never grew up building things out of Erector Sets, and she’s terrible at reading “part a atteches to part b with two bolts enclosed in the third packet, Don't use the ones marked only for Delta faucets oh, you get the point. ” dust a suggestion from a syntax point of view, the construction of the first sentence appears to allay anyone whoisa DHHS client and anyone who is a Flint resident to receive a water filter. Itisn’t clear that it applies to a person whois a Flint resident who receives public assistance and not to other Hint residents. Secondly, don't forget that other Hint residents alse should be entitied to a water filter and although the press release is about DHHS clients, we don’t want to create additional confusion. A thraw-away line about the other residents might be wise.

I'm writing to inquire about a meeting being held tomorrow morning in Lansing between the Governor's Office and the group ‘Concerned Pastors for Social Action’ from Flint. We're hearing the meeting centers around Flint's water quality concerns and is scheduled for sometime around 9 o'clock. From my understanding this meeting won't be open to the public, but I'm wondering if we can at least have a location of where it's taking place?
