Permit Metrics — Jack — please prepare short-concise briefing on this issue for the MiStat report. 2. Flint Drinking Water — George, please prepare a short update on this issue — we might just be able to include the Monday briefing that we send on January 4. 3. Pipeline Safety - Matt, please prepare a short-concise briefing on this issue. What we have done thus far. 4. Recycling — Bryce — please share a short-concise briefing on this issue. VVhat is new to date, the January meeting, the May Summit, Status of Recycle by Design, etc. and anything else you feel the Governor should be aware of. The information should be as up-to-date as possible (close to the due date) and should be 1-3 paragraphs or no longer than one page, not too long for the Governor. Please prepare the briefing document as assigned above, a Word document in Arial 12, and proofread by your management assistant. All you need is the subject and then your paragraphs. Please send to Jack Schinderle, Donna Seratt, and me by Tuesday, January 5, COB. Donna of OEA will put together the full QOL report as | need to send it to the Governor’s office by Thursday, January 7. All, | talked to Mr. Fonger (MLive Media Group Reporter)about the Bray Road Site. The following highlights the type of information that was provided to Mr. Fonger during our conversation. - Site was originally used as a sedimentation area for materials from the drinking water plant. - Over time the City dumped street sweeping materials and concrete and asphalt debris at the site. - OWMRP has been engaged with the City of Flint for a number of years (10+) to try to get the site evaluated. | - There is another Bray Road site that is across the Road that is overseen by Remediation Division. : ~ OWMRP entered into a Consent Order regarding the evaluation of site conditions and potential cleanup of the site. | - Site Conditions are unknown at this time, the city will evaluate this summer. Preliminary water data indicate no impact. - Summarized the compliance program in the order. (Directed Mr. Fonger to JoAnne Rennaker to FOIA a copy of the order) - The City wants to use the Site for a sedimentation area again. - The City is in the permitting process for the Drinking Water Plant.
