Patti, i don’t have much further to add at this point, beyond what | showed you yesterday fooking at actual specimen dates and DOBs—i.e., f think the “Just Dates” file shows that my age calculations are correct. Not knowing SAS, | don’t know how to adjust the cade to adjust the SAS date calculations, but | think that’s what needs to be done. lll be happy to heip, if there is anything | can do. We do seem to be calculating the same number of individuals (differed by 1), and we're pulling zip code fram the same field, so f think it boils down to how the age is calculated. 'm copying Yan because she may have a way to lock at this quicker, faster and easier than us manually reviewing records. Yan, Bob and | analyzed 2014 by zipcode for the state and got different numbers. We have been asked to find out why. The Just Dates excei file is from Bab- where he looked at individual level data to try to figure out if the difference could be due to the way we are categorizing age. (You could create SAS dataset, which may make it easier to analyze. ©) Documenting the SAS code is my attempt to quantify each step by age group. Hi Bob, Corinne and Sarah looked at our two tables and couldn’t find a discernable pattern. In some zips | have more and in others you have more. Yan and | documented the data steps and the numbers at each step, and also by age group. Revised lead analysis

Hi all, | deduplicated to year for the state. | have SAS output for 2010-2015 by agegroup and by Michigan, Genesee, and Flint. By quarter and then broke 2015 to 1/1 to 9/30 and 10/1 onward. | can share the SAS output with you, but I’m entering into excel, which will be easier to read. The hand entering is going slowly, so | may not have the excel tables ready by this afternoon. also want Yan to double check the code that | modified to create the yearly datasets. So rough numbers | can provide today, something more polished probably won't be available until Monday. Unless | work on it during the weekend. Hi Marcy, fagree that it makes sense for Bob to provide the weekly Flint updates to department leadership given that Fintisa very active situation. | would at sore point Hike to see epi re-run the Poisson analysis for Flint with confirmed (venous only} cases. And yes we need to set up another meeting. Rashmi had asked me last week if f was going to do that and EF will. Data Warehouse access and Lead data for Flint

We met the other day (on another subject) with the folks who manage the DSA, the application that controls access to the Warehouse. We asked them to check on your request for access, to find out where the hold-up is. Do you have access yet? If not, is there anything | can do to help in the meantime? Also, | want to let you know what I’ve been up to regarding lead data for Flint. At Eden Wells’ and Sue Moran’s request, I’ve provided to Genesee Co HD a child-specific file of children with BLLs >= 5 since April 2014, indicating each child’s most recent test and whether the child needs a confirmatory venous, a follow-up venous, or is not currently due for re- testing. I’ll update the file each Monday and send an updated copy to them. The purpose is to help guide the activities of GCHD’s nurses, as well as EBL investigators contracted by the Healthy Homes Section. I’ve also been asked by Angela Minicuci and Eden Wells to provide a weekly summary of new lead results. The latest example is attached. | don’t want to trespass in your territory, though, so if you are or will be doing something similar, please let me know and we'll work it out. Thanks, Bob Robert L.
