Thanks Linda — So everyone is or the same page - Businesses thet wish to he tested can go through the lab and rust pay for the testing. They are not being offered free testing as is being done for residents. Since the docurnent MDARD prepared is specific to restaurants, atc. net sure that we have enough basis to suggest that rid-day flushing is necessary. But flushing is never a badidea. We'll keer this in mind as we proceed with developing recommendations for schoois. i believe as long as the Genesee County cio not use the water order is stillin place, we should be confident that bagged ice isn’t oraduced locally, Kevin — you ray want to place a caveat in the document just in case,

Attached are the pdf/scanned forms that were submitted by the city jwe do have the individual lab sheets, but didn’t think thase would be helofull for the 2 six month rounds of monitoring conducted (uly — December 20:14 and January - dune 2015). Also, Adarn has provided the excel spreadsheet that he used to calculate the ag" percentile numbers for both rounds. Ask if you have questions. liane

Importance: High We've seen a rare finished version. | agree with the recornmendations with sore caveats: ® Can businesses get the free water testing offered to citizens? @ Some of the lHerature we've reviewed suggests that lines might need to be flushed if not used for less than 6 hours. Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2015 4:08:38 PM Michelle completed a final draft of a fact sheet for Genesee County that | sent up our review chain earlier today. It’s focused on answering questions that the county is getting about using the city water for bathing, washing clothes, etc. All of our outreach efforts are supposed to go through Eden Wells and then to our communications office (Geralyn Lasher). | think DEQ and HHS should really work together on this, not have separate materials. Let’s brainstorm tomorrow morning when my brain is less dead.

Date: Tuesday, September 22, 2015 3:26:27 PM Importance: High I’m seeing a discrepancy in the instructions for DW sampling for lead between the back of form EQB 2300 (36ME) and those at 3313 3675 _3691-9677--,00.htm|. The word or pdf instruction under helpful tools on the later page reads as Liane indicated in the call, flush the tap, let it sit 6 hours then take a first run sample. But the back of the request form says: “Select a clean faucet and remove such attachments as aerators, dishwasher connectors, etc. Allow water to run for about ten minutes at full flow from the sampling tap. Reduce flow to avoid splashing, and collect the sample directly into the bottle. Do not use an intermediate container. Do not allow water
