By the way, Wayne Workman announced his retirement yesterday effective Feb. 1, so the guy who is the mast knowledgeable and most talented Treasury bureaucrat we have (alongside of whizbang Tom Saxton} is quitting. That is a heck of a hole te fill, so we need to encourage Torn to stay (he's wavering}.

They like the Governor and appreciate his efforts in Flint. However, they believe because of the combination of the water issue, the “take over” issue, and the approach that Darnell and/or the city manager is taking that it has created a great deal of animosity in Flint. | asked Rep. Neely if the Governor could only do one thing what would you have him do to improve the situation. He said to give the new mayor the ability to appoint some of her own executive staff (legal counsel, etc) that aren’t involved with the finances (much like we did in Detroit).
