Team,
lam writing to again confirm our meeting which is scheduled for next Wednesday October 7th at 2:00 pm. We
have decided to hold the meeting at City Hall but due to rapidly evolving events I will wait until early next
week to put out an agenda. In general, we expect to update the most recent water status in order to get everyone
on the same page, and then have a targeted agenda that points at both a short term and long term goals.
In staying consistent with our other meetings we anticipate a full sharing of information along with open
discussion and a clear direction going forward. Darren Lytle of the EPA has committed to being at the meeting
and Marc Edwards of Virginia Tech has agreed to call in.
Please email me if there are any questions.
Thank you,
Technical Advisory Team,
I am writing to inform everyone that we have scheduled the next Technical Advisory Committee meeting to be

Tech along with two lead experts from the EPA (Darren Lytle & Michael Schock) to become a part of the
technical team and we are hopeful that they will all be present at the upcoming meeting.
At the meeting we will discuss an overview of the City water system, compliance with the Safe Drinking Water
Act, lead concerns, corrosion control, water testing, public education, capital improvement plans, the KWA
pipeline, and next steps.
I will forward a specific location and agenda in the near future but we are firmly committing to the time and
date. As with previous meetings we look forward to this group having positive dialogue that will benefit the
community.
Thank you,
