The city of Flint (WTP) is required to designate an Operator In Charge (OIC) holding an F-1 drinking water license. The F designation stands for Complete Treatment and the 1 designation stands for the level (based on pop served, greater than 20,000). Flint meets this requirement. Flint must also have a shift operator available having at least an F-4 license to cover shifts when the OIC is not present. The city employs numerous operators holding F-4, F-3, and F-2 licenses; thus, the city meets MDEQ's operator certification requirements. Sent from my iPhone
