EPA’s Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water is hosting a webinar on the Lead and Copper Rule 101: Requirements before an ALE Summary: This webinar is part one of a three part Lead and Copper Rule 101 series. The webinar series will cover the Lead and Copper Rule requirements before an action level exceedance, the second webinar of this series will cover the Lead and Copper Rule requirements after an action level exceedance and the third webinar will cover the Lead and Copper Rule reporting requirements and compliance determination under the LCR. Specifically this first webinar will provide an overview of key provisions of the rule including lead and copper tap monitoring requirements, how to calculate the 90th percentile level, requirements to inform the public, water quality parameter monitoring requirements, and requirements related to long term treatment changes and new source additions.
