The sequential sampling section was added to the protocol after the first building was sampled and DEQ will return to Freeman to take those samples, likely later this week. Just got off phone with Jen Gray, our toxicologist who works with Linda. e She concurs with me that DEQ does NOT KNOW WHICH ZIPCODE these tests came from! e 15 ppb is the EPA actionable level e 4PPBis the residential limit DEQ uses to state that drinking water is safe AFTER an abatement or clean- up. e MDHHS Tox has NOT endorsed this 4 ppb level, and has been working with DEQ regarding this issue. I haven't seen the actual filter but Geralyn clearly stated our need for filters that meet the requirements specified to screen lead. These should be easy do it yourself filters that thread right on to the faucet. Sent from my iPhone
