Since | am out of the office, | did not want to respond to all in case | am missing parts of the conversation. My thought is
the appropriation could go in either DEQ or DHHS's budget. If included in our budget, | would suggest a $6 million
appropriation for "Flint Drinking Water" with $1 million from settlements and $5 million from general fund with
boilerplate language indicating the $6 million shall be paid to DWS for the reconnection of the Flint water system.
Please let me know if you would like me to follow-up with Nancy or if anything else is needed.
