Re: Friday's meeting in Flint

Thanks, George! Let us know time, Jim. | will be there just for a short time in way up thru to Westland. Sent from my iPhone Please note that the meeting tomorrow in Flint will not be the same format as the typical meeting. It will be focused on plant operations and the City’s consultants will be there. It is also anticipated that EPA will be on the line. Everyone is welcome but | wanted to make sure that you were aware that the main topic of conversation will be engineering related issues. Also, I’m not sure if the time is the same. Jim, can you chime in on that? Thank you! George George L. RE: Sampling School water systems- update from DEQ

Date: Thursday, October 22, 2015 10:47:24 AM Hi Eden, The $1 million dollars that Mark Miller is referring to is to be used solely for the analysis of lead and copper samples. It was estimated that the cost for all of the testing would be approximately 1.3 million so | just wanted to point out that DEQ could potentially end up eating about 300k worth of testing costs. If | understand correctly DEQ was allocated 300k for staffing needs for this project and | believe that payment for sampling services could potentially come from that fund. Liane and Jim will probably be able to point to the correct fund once a formal request has been made. I’m still trying to connect with Jim Henry at GCHD to obtain a formal request. George George L. Not to my knowledge. The plan was to meet with ihe Flint Superintendent and the 13 schoois that were in the initial study first. We are working to make that happen. George L.
