FW: Meeting with GCDC-WWS on KWA issues
FYL | hust spoke with Mir. Osborn. The irnpetus for the meeting, which is slated for tomorrow afternoon, is that the road
through the Lapeer State Garnes Area is narrow (S-foot lanes} and the Lapeer County Road Commission (now) wants it
widened to meet currant standards (11-foot lanes plus shoulder), About 7,600 linear feet of roadway are under
discussion,
if the entire expansion is into wetland, ft would ervtail nearly 4 of an acre of additional permanent wetland
impact. However, any additional permanent wetland iripact will require a new perrnit application, | will have more
details after the meeting and will keen you in the loop. in the meantime, your thoughts are welcome.
