Importance: High FYI This email is being sent to you due to the nature of the call and that caller reported he spoke with Andrew, Governor’s office, and was referred to DEQ to report. Caller information: Joe Weihr 248-820-2709 County: City: Report: Action: Genesee Flint Water in Flint toxic, town hall meeting at Antioch Baptist Mission Church, about the water, media present, 300 people, children attended, some w/rashes from the water. He just got off the phone with Andrew, Governor's office ref DEQ. Has called EPA reporting. City of Flint sent letter admitting water does not meet EPA water quality standard. Water is no longer hooked up to Flint water, city decided three years ago to draw water out of the Flint water and processing it rather than buying it from the City of Detroit. This is when the health issues began. Provided contact number for Stephen Busch, Transferred call, stayed on line, went to voice mail, Got back on line, let caller know call went to voice and inquired his preference of leaving a message or should | continue to find a live individual. He stated he was fine leaving a message. | reminded him that he has the number if he would like to call Busch directly he could do so. Importance: High First response please “Reply All” to receipt of this PEAS Notification ASAP. Incident Description: Noticed a sheen in the river, observed coming out of one the storm drains that discharges to the Flint River, coming out of Parcel B of the property known as old Chevy in the Hole, 300 North Chevrolet Avenue, Flint. A brownfield that was split in to five different parcels as they have worked on it. Outfall iD # F13-WARD-14. Checked again at 10:30, 11:30 am and 8:00 pm yesterday, reported no sheen was occuring. Is an ongoing investigation due to remediation.
