EarthTec is NSF 60 certified for drinking water and has been approved by the state of Michigan. We used EarthTec in Saginaw, MI for a few years until they changed their source water and no longer needed it. Pricing for EarthTec is $15.00/gallon in 275 gallon totes FOB our plant in Holdrege, NE. We have a number of plants using EarthTec around the US for river water applications for both organics and algae. How much retention time do you have between the river water intake and the plant? Jeff- e EarthTec is a liquid copper based product that has been used as a municipal water pretreatment chemical for the past 20 years. e NSF Certified. e We have hundreds of installations. e It essentially reacts with algae and organics to improve the water quality coming in to the plant. e There are no resulting dbp's with our product. e The product is normally dosed at 1 ppm at the raw water intake and reacts with the water prior to the treatment plant. e The copper is 100% cupric CU++ ions which are toxic and bioavailable. The actual copper level is only 60 ppb at 1 ppm. e The product stays in solution indefinitely until it reacts based on water demand. e Product has a negative charge and usually reduces the amount of coagulant required e We have several piants running ozone. No adverse effects with any oxidant. Should be able to reduce ozone feed rates assuming EarthTec reduces the organic loading. | have attached some general information for your review.
