h’s a sticky one. We felt we needed to make the change to “confirmed” after we teak 4 closer look at our data-even at the 4-9 levels so many capillary tests are followed by a lower venous test, 90 inclucling all 5-9s (cap and venous} is misleading. Qn the other hand, that creates a precipitous drop in the number of kids with BLL >=5, so | provided the old version (corfirmed and unconfirmed) for comparison with previous years. So, ray suggestion is this: when displaying 2014 nurnbers arly, use the “confirmed” columns. When comparing against previaus years, use the “confirmed & unconfirmed” columns. Of course this creates potential for lots of confusion, 30 some explanatory notes might be appropriate.
