Tom Alcamo, through advice from Dianne Russell, EPA’s Community Involvement Coordinator, recommended that DEQ staff be prepared to answer the following questions asked by reporters at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on October 16, 2015: “How is the water supply system in St. Louis/Alma different from Flint?” “Will the same issues in Flint occur in this new system?” “If no, why?” | do not have details of the Flint water system issues.
