Steve/Richard:
I’ve been in communication with Liane this morning via cell phone and she agreed with Steve’s latest round of
comments, | incorporated as many as | could. A couple still need attention:
1. Liane agrees with Steve “When the LCR was first implemented, the means for demonstrating optimized
corrosion control was by sampling for lead concentrations using the monitoring requirements of this regulation”
sounds strange and would like someone to suggest a rewording of it.
2. Ineeda link to both CCRs from Flint so we can list both in the document as not to confuse people.
After final discussion of you two, Liane would like me to send the incoming letter and our draft response to Linda
Dykema at DHHS for any possible input on the letter, then it can go upstairs. This is still in rough draft format as | need
to apply the correspondence guidelines to it before it goes upstairs. Nonetheless, the latest draft is attached.
