Matt, xxxEND_PAGE:deq25_b139_1416_1422_1 At this point, | do not have any additional information pertaining to the oil sheen or PEAS incident. | tried to contact Genesee Co. staff who are directly involved with the project; however, they are out for remainder of the day. The KWA-iIntake consultant is Rowe Professional Services ~ Mr. Jim Redding (810) 341-7500 | also contacted the Saginaw Bay office. They did not have a contact for the contractor info handy; however, they informed me that WRD has taken enforcement action against Worth Two (which borders the shoreline — including the project site} for discharge violations from their WWTP. | will be meeting with Genesee County staff tomorrow morning and will ask if they are aware of this situation and will obtain consultant contact information. Mr. Charlie Bauer from WRD is the contact person for further Information concerning the WWTP situation. Michael Prysby, P.E. Al, Please see the emails below regarding a PEAS report that may be originating from the City of Flint water intake project. After further discussion and investigation, it appears that the Flint water intake project was permitted under Part 325 from the Saginaw Bay District Office and the drinking water portion of the project was reviewed by the Lansing District Office, with ownership of the intake belonging to city of Flint. thave been asked by my supervisor to refer this issue to respective districts and associated staff. Matt, | have not received any issues regarding this project. They have been working on getting the intake crib structure in place and starting to place pipe from the crib to shore this past week.
