Dr. Wells: Thank you for the quick feedback. We have an excellent relationship with Mark Valacak and his colleagues at the Health Department. Our campus worked with GCHD and the United Way of Genesee County in the first distribution of water filters for the city’s residents on Saturday, Oct 3rd from 10am-5pm. We handed out nearly 3,000 filters that day. It was a great collaborative effort all within 36 hours of planning. I’m also copying our interim dean of SHPS, Donna Fry, and Prof. Margaret Murray-Wright who oversees our Nursing program at UM-Flint. David.
