Re: City of Flint Technical Advisory Committee

Hi Dan and Eden, Thanks for inviting me to be a member of the TAC. As you know, | am an occupational and environmental physician, not a water engineer or environmental chemist, so | did not have a lot to say at today's meeting. Nevertheless, the meeting today was very interesting. It is my understanding that MDEQ and/or MDCH compile and analyze the results of blood lead testing. Prior to the next meeting of the TAC | would be very interested in seeing what these data show for Flint, and possibly other urban areas of Michigan. In particular, since the water in Flint was ‘switched’ in about April 2014 (about 18 months ago), | would like to see data for the 18 month period prior to the switch and for the 18 month period subsequent to the switch. It would be particularly helpful if the results were displayed separately for children and adults. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
