Michigan Section - Water Utility Summit

To
Amy Vail , Bill Fritz , Bill Maier Ballard
targets dec 2015.xlsx Dear Board Members: As | mentioned in our board meeting last week, we are convening a special summit to provide a forum for utilities to discuss some of the questions and/or issues that may be coming up due to the publicity surrounding the City of Flint. We are really trying to get our larger utility members, which are shown on the attached list. We have not listed the smallest systems, which are grade 80 as there are over 100 of them. All utility members received the invitation, however. Anyway, we are looking for some help in providing a personal invitation to the targeted members. | have assigned a few of them already based on relationships that | know you may have already. | am looking for volunteers for the rest so we can contact them by the end of the week. Let’s limit it to up to 2 people from each organization unless we have room for more. Attached are also a copy of the invitation mailed Saturday and talking points. The registration will be $0 for utility members, $25 for others. The promo code for the free registrations was on a separate card in the invitation. If you get someone to say yes right away — you can call or email Bonnifer and she will get them signed up. Please let me know by tomorrow who you might want to call and | will send out a new list so that we don’t duplicate our efforts! Thanks Barbara E. Marczak, P.E.
