Dan, Jim, Maggie, Madhu, and Brad,
The Office of Auditor General sent the attached report to the legislature this morning indicating they
will be doing an audit of the Office of Drinking Water and Municipal Assistance. One of their
objectives is “to assess the sufficiency of ODWMA’s oversight of the State’s drinking water supply
and environmental health programs.”
Typically, the OAG is very good about discussing potential issues they see prior to releasing any
report, but | wanted to make sure you are aware of the audit especially with everything going on
with Flint.
