Dear Governor Snyder: We want to thank you for the recent conference call between members of the Flint Water Advisory Task Force (FWATE), yourself, and members of your administration. Attached is a follow-up letter to that conference call outlining an initial set of recommendations that we believe should be implemented in the very near future to focus the state's efforts to protect the public health in Flint. We both acknowledge and appreciate your personal interest in this issue and your commitment, not only to assisting the Task Force in our review, but--most importantly--to ensuring that the full measure of state resources are brought forward to protect the public health in Flint and throughout the state.
