Hi Mike, | don’t believe we’ve met before, | work over at DNR. But | live in the City of Flint and | just wanted to know, what is going on with the water, | hear a lot of conflicting things, its testing positive for fecal coliform, then that the test was wrong, now that the there is another test for total coliform that was positive. A lot of my neighbors are asking me if its safe to drink the water (because for the average person the DNR and DEQ are the same thing and we are expected to know the answer). We don’t live in the advisory area, but, people from all areas are still worried. Any help that you can give me to explain what’s going on and what is causing the situation would be helpful.
