Strategy for dealing with Let Run Advisories and other potential spring wet weather events

To
Unknown recipient
Thank you all for updating the spreadsheet with information pertaining to the municipalities in your district that have instituted Let Run Advisories this winter. The complete spreadsheet can be found here. | realize you have been working closely with many of these facilities like we normally do, but there is also some legislative interest in this topic and there was a legislative hearing last week that focused on these advisories. We'd like to remain proactive in our communications with these municipalities to inform them of their permit obligations and encourage them to contact us if they anticipate any problems. Attached, and also located with the spreadsheet, is a draft email that we should use to send to those facilities we anticipate will have problems. Please discuss this with your staff and have them send this email to their contacts at these facilities in the next week or so. We have discussed this strategy with Jim Sygo, Maggie xxxEND_PAGE:deq04_b077_2967_3228_197 Datema, and Sarah Howes so they are prepared for any legislative inquiries that may arise. Please also copy the ODWMaA District Supervisor and district engineer on communications to keep them informed as weil. Thanks.
