Flint water

Hi Jennifer, We’re going to be meeting with Flint’s mayor later today. I’m curious what actual statistics the county health department may have on EBLs in Flint children between the time before Flint was on its own water vs. now. And also, how many kids are actually being treated or receiving extra treatment like chelation therapy? Are those numbers you’d be able to get a hold of fairly easily? Also, do we know what MDHHS and/or MDEQ are doing action wise? | know the mayor wants a Stafford Act declaration, but they make it seem as though that’s the only avenue for real assistance which, in the case of an infrastructure failure, is the least likely avenue. Thanks for anything you might be able to shed light on!
