Mike, not sure if you got back to Chic.
We don’t have anything formal like regulations or guidance that we developed, but | have attached four iterns that may
be helphil, Gne is a thread with the Butchess County DOH about chloramine residual in the distribution system. We
basically had te “shoehorn” a couple chloramine conversion inte our existing regulations which were free-chlorine
based. Two other documents pertaining to Poughkeepsie indicate the importance of having a vigorous pre-flushing
nrogram prior to conversion to chlaramines and also an extensive public information program prior to conversion. The
final tiem: is an informational brochure from Sanaea Falls (home of It's a Wonderful Lifel} when they began using
chioraminated water.
